Jane, arriving in Torla
Welcome to our bicycle tour of the Pyrenees. When we decided to attend Dominique Susani's sacred geometry workshop in the megalithic sites and sacred centers along the Compostela trail in the north of Spain, we began to look into the custom-built folding bicycles made in Eugene, Oregon by Bike Friday. It was love at first ride!

They pack into a standard suitcase, take standard racks and panniers, and perform like our favorite "big wheel" bikes.

When the classes in Spain were over, we pulled our bikes out of their suitcases, sent the empty suitcases along to our hotel in Barcelona (where we would meet them after two weeks), and hit the road.

Our route took us from Leyre to Berdun, through the Foz Binies and up to Anso, over a pass to Siresa, over another pass from Jasa to Aisa, up to the dolmen at Biescas, way up and through a tunnel to the astounding Torla and Fragen, then down along the river to Ainsa.
